Whew!

Who knew that getting your sexy back one week before your 40th birthday would be so tiring!

Last night was the P!nk/Justin Timberlake concert. MiniMe and I had a great time. It would have been even better if we were actually JT fans. I think we knew maybe 3 other songs of his other than Sexy Back but he put on a great performance. P!nk's show was only 45 minutes but phenomenol.

We didn't get home until almost midnight. Combine that with the time change over the weekend and I'm one tired pup today. But I did go to the dog park for one round of walking this morning. I didn't have the full three rounds in me but one is better than none. The weather is just too nice today to stay home on the couch.

Knitting-wise I haven't gotten much accomplished on any of my new projects. I did cast on my Hempathy Lace tank. I sat down over the weekend and rewrote my notes to figure out a way to knit it in the round. Hopefully it will work out. I haven't even completed one repeat of the lace pattern so I don't have much to show for it.

I also cast on a pair of black knee-highs in Cascade Fixation. I've only just completed the toes so again, not much to show right now. I'm knitting these toe up, two at a time, using Magic Loop. They are intended for MiniMe and I'm planning on incorporating a Moose Motif in a silver metallic yarn. Why? Because she came up with the idea of a "Tinfoil Moose Monster" Halloween costume last fall and loves Moose, why not? They may also have alternating wide stripes of hot pink or bright purple going up the leg but that hasn't been determined yet. For now, the feet will be solid black.

I have some posts brewing on the back burner. I just have to find time and energy to get them together. Thanks for sticking with me.
