Easter chocolates, YUmmmmmm!

Emma
Don't these look delicious? Okay maybe a little too fuzzy for most tastes. Little E made these Sunday afternoon. She picked out the kit at Wool & Company on Friday when we were there for Friday Knitting. I bought it for her Easter Basket and she was happy. Aren't I a good mom? She really needed very little direction or help from me once I showed her a few tricks for getting the shapes started.

While on the subject of needle felting let me show you my latest creation.

She doesn't have an official name. I keep referring to her as Myrtle the Mermaid. While E was needling away in my workroom Sunday I took the opportunity to put the finishing touches on Myrtle. I kept thinking she needed some "sparkle" and as I didn't have any Angelina Fiber in my stash, I used beads. I like how the clear ones in her seaweed "hair" look like bubbles.

I love her but I decided I need to set her free. So she is currently listed on my Etsy shop. If you love her too go there and get out your PayPal wallet. I'm just saying...

Oh and I have PrOn!!! But I didn't get pictures yet...Let me post this and then I'll go take pics and post them and the progress on my Sophie's Toes Jean Jacket sock. (hint: one is done and I love it.)
