She loves the kitty tower. The Brothers have outgrown it so it is free and clear territory for the new girl.
This little stinker quickly figured out the doggie door and proceeded to follow Heidi and Shadow as well as Latte & Leche out into the great big world. We couldn't have this partly because we live in fox and coyote country and partly because she was declawed prior to our adopting her, we decided it was in the best interest of everyone that the dog door be closed off for the time being.
The dogs have adjusted just fine to having to come to us for their daily constitutionals. The felines on the other hand are highly incensed that they can no longer come and go as they please. They are more than just a tad bit vocal about it too. Leche even took it upon himself to try to figure out if he could manuever the door knob without opposible thumbs. 24 hours later, they've adopted a feeling of silent resignation. It is sad indeed.
Now that everyone has been forced to live in peace and harmony inside the house I've had more opportunities to take their pictures.
I made two Kitty Pi's last month. The first is tiny but Tallulah fits in it okay. I don't have a pic yet. The second is a bit bigger but I realize now, still not quite big enough for the Brothers.
Case in Point:
That is an example of, "ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag."
(aka Latte)
Then this morning Leche decides to try it on for size...
Hey you, this is MY sunbeam!
Tallulah says, "Fine FatBoy, I'll take my sunbath over here."

I love your kitties :). I really need to make a Kitty Pi, if anything just to rid myself of the massive amounts of wool I've accumulated.
ReplyDelete[...] Unfortunately the new kitten is also a big fan of Sophie’s Toes. She found the second ball I had wound and had her kittenish way with it yesterday. I just now got it rewound back into a nice neat little cake (that’s it with the finished sock.) [...]
